Susan Boyle is intervied by Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira and is once again absolutely charming. She seems to have no problem with impromptu, acapella (without accompaniment) singing - I’m also about 95% sure she’s got perfect pitch (most of us have what is called “relative pitch” - that is, we pick a note out of the air and hope it’s not going to take us into the stratosphere on the top - or into the basement below on the low parts. So…we sing the whole song relative to the note on which we began). Perfect pitch: occasionally you’ll come across people who, once they’ve sung a song - that’s it, they’ll always start on the correct pitch, even without someone giving them the starting note on an instrument. I believe that’s what we have with Susan Boyle!
